SKREEEEEAAWWWWWW! Following on the sandaled heels of “The Sword and the Sorcerer” and “Conan the Barbarian,” both of which mined a similar sword-and-sorcery milieu, “The Beastmaster” debuted in theaters on Friday, August 19, 1982.
